In particular, we try to explain why some countries have done so much better than others,” it said in a statement. Mauritius island which polled at 44th globally, was ranked the happiest in Africa in the World Happiness Report. Gen Museveni's key achievements for the Republic of Uganda.

Image
Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is the president of the Republic of Uganda since 1986. Museveni’s greatest achievement was to stabilize the political dispensation. This is reflected in three critical areas where Uganda’s state fragility was most reflected: incessant military coups and civil wars. Museveni ended these and reestablished the state’s monopoly over the exercise of violence. This allowed him to build a stable and continuous presidency that has lasted nearly three and a half decades. To achieve these aims, Museveni took effective personal control over the security apparatus and disciplined the army, making it subordinate to his personal will. He also ensured good relations with the western powers (much about this later), and established some degree of individual freedom. Museveni’s second greatest achievement has been to initiate economic growth and to sustain it over 34 years. Uganda’s economy has grown at an annual average rate of nearly 7% during...

Self esteem impacts your whole life choices!

Image
The definition of self -esteem is “how much you value yourself”. If you love and respect yourself you will have the ability to make the right choices that are true to who you are. Throughout my life, I have made many wrong decisions because my self-esteem has been so low. I have been in really destructive relationships just because I wanted to be loved. I have to stop myself from not following my dreams because I have felt I have not been good enough. Through a lot of soul searching and heartache I have realised that self -esteem is so important to your emotional health. The more you like yourself the more you will look after yourself, the more confident you will feel and this will lead to you being more efficient and productive in each area of your life. When you have a high self-esteem you are protected from being diminished by other people or by circumstances. If you truly value yourself and no your self-worth this will create a strong foundation ...
