NRA liberation day Uganda

On the 26th of January 1986, NRA troops captured Kampala after a fierce two day battle. It was the culmination of a gruelling 5 year guerrilla struggle that started with the first battle of Kabamba on the 6th of February 1981. 

The Legacy of the NRA/UPDF Roars!
We remember the heroic exertions of the gallant combatants of the National Resistance Army. Asante sana makamanda.

Happy 35th Liberation Day to fellow Ugandans. We attribute the prevailing peace & stability, developing modernised infrastructure and push for commercial agric to the bravery of the NRA/NRM guerillas led by President Kaguta Museveni

The renovated Royal Palace in Kamukuzi for Omugabe of Ankore. Uzima Natural Mineral water factory construction.

The MD National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) Lt Gen James Mugira has laid a Project Stone on the new Uzima Factory and inspected progress of the ongoing construction works of a second modern fully automated mineral water production plant at Kakiri, Wakiso District. The factory produces Natural Mineral Water for the UPDF and general public. The new water factory is expected to be commissioned in August this year will greatly increase the production capacity of UZIMA Natural mineral water. Lt Gen Mugira was accompanied by his Deputy Maj Gen Moses Ddiba Sentongo and was received at the factory by the GM NEC Uzima Ltd, Brig Dr. Emmanuel Shillingi.
