NRA liberation day Uganda

Image
On the 26th of January 1986, NRA troops captured Kampala after a fierce two day battle. It was the culmination of a gruelling 5 year guerrilla struggle that started with the first battle of Kabamba on the 6th of February 1981.  The Legacy of the NRA/UPDF Roars! We remember the heroic exertions of the gallant combatants of the National Resistance Army. Asante sana makamanda. Happy 35th Liberation Day to fellow Ugandans. We attribute the prevailing peace & stability, developing modernised infrastructure and push for commercial agric to the bravery of the NRA/NRM guerillas led by President Kaguta Museveni  #LiberationDayUg
