WHAT IT TAKES TO BE CHINA'S LEADER. A TOUGH JOURNEY.

Image
Unlike so-called "democratic countries," the Chinese people value experience more than votes or other abilities for government officials. From the Sui Dynasty on (1400 years ago), officials were selected and promoted by examination, not by blood or birth. In today's China, if you want to enter politics, you have to take a hard and competitive road. Whether you come from a grassroots family or a political family, you have to go through every step. Only in this way, you can reach the top of power, like President Xi. First, you have to own a college degree, at least for most Chinese govt officials. Several important developments that have continued to affect Uganda politics in the postcolonial period marked the period of colonial rule. It was a decision that provoked outcry throughout the kingdom, and for some in the Lukiiko.  The new Agreement of 1961 provoked immediate outcry throughout the kingdom, resulting in hundreds of petitions for the Lukiiko to resign.  God...

This however was rejected by prime minister Nuwa Mbaguta who said the rightful person to the throne was Kahaya Mwene Igumira. There was a disagreement between the two factions that almost caused the bloodshed. Owek Nuwa Mbaguta sent messengers to Kabaka Mwanga of Buganda asking him for military support. Kabaka Mwanga accepted but gave terms and conditions that Ankore should also be ready to help Buganda with manpower in fighting against the British. Buganda officials travelled to Ankore to deliver the message. Owek Nuwa Mbaguta didn't understand Luganda well. He ordered everyone in the Palace to keep quiet as he was listening...
